Patient IQ

PatientIQ aims to become the largest network for healthcare professionals to collaborate and improve patient outcomes. The company collects patient-reported outcomes (“PROs”) through automated care pathways on behalf of provider organizations before and after a clinical encounter to analyze and benchmark outcomes data across patient populations and provider cohorts. The de-identified PRO data is also sold as real-world evidence to industry partners. PatientIQ is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois.

Leadership

Matthew Gitelis started his career as a financial analyst covering mergers & acquisitions and capital raises for clients based in Chicago, New York, and Toronto. After leaving the world of Wall Street, he worked as a senior researcher at NorthShore University HealthSystem and Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush in Chicago where he learned firsthand the many challenges facing healthcare data & analytics professionals. He is an author on more than 30 peer reviewed papers and has presented at academic meetings around the world. He is currently on a leave of absence from Rush Medical College while he leads the team at PatientIQ.
